Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed scheme which outlines the minimum baseline standard for cyber security. It’s an independently verified self-assessment certification that your organisation needs to renew annually. Your organisation must hold a valid Cyber Essentials certificate throughout the duration of any further certifications.

Why should charities get Cyber Essentials certified?

How to receive discounted certification

To apply for the discount, simply complete the form on this page during Charity Cyber Essentials Awareness Month (1^st – 31^st October 2024) and submit your application.
You must apply for your Cyber Essentials certification during our Charity Cyber Essentials Awareness Month, which starts on the 1st of October. Cut off will be 5pm on the 31st of October.
You must start the process within one month of application and must have completed and submitted the assessment by the 30th of April 2025.
The discount price will not be available to organisations not listed on the Charity Commission register.
