RightCue signs the UK Cyber Resilience Pledge

Cyber resilience starts at the top. RightCue is proud to have signed the UK Government's Cyber Resilience Pledge, joining organisations across Britain in making a clear, public commitment to stronger cyber defences.

What is the Cyber Resilience Pledge?

The Cyber Resilience Pledge is a voluntary commitment launched by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), bringing government and industry together to encourage practical steps that strengthen cyber governance and reduce cyber risk. It was formally launched at 10 Downing Street on 7 July 2026, and more than 60 organisations have already signed, including Marks & Spencer, Nationwide, ITV, Microsoft UK and Cloudflare.

The pledge was designed with medium and large organisations in mind, but it is open to organisations of all sizes and sectors. At its heart it asks signatories to take three concrete actions to improve their cyber security. The three commitments we've made

By signing the pledge, RightCue commits to three practical actions:

These map to the government's three asks: implementing the Cyber Governance Code of Practice, registering for the NCSC Early Warning service, and requiring Cyber Essentials across the supply chain.

Why RightCue signed the pledge

For RightCue, this is not about adding another badge to our website. It is about demonstrating that cyber resilience is a leadership responsibility, embedding good cyber governance throughout our own organisation, and holding ourselves to the same standards we encourage our clients to adopt.

We will publish our signed pledge declaration and provide an annual public update on the steps we are taking to deliver against these commitments. Because resilient organisations build stronger supply chains, protect their customers and contribute to a more secure UK economy.

What your organisation can do

You do not need to be a large enterprise to take part. The pledge is open to organisations of all sizes, and the three actions it asks for are good practice for any business that takes cyber security seriously.

If you want to move in the same direction, a sensible starting point is to make cyber security a standing board agenda item and complete the NCSC's governance training, register for the free NCSC Early Warning service, and set a proportionate expectation of Cyber Essentials across your own suppliers.
